Deb Rasmussen

Canadian jazz vocalist and songwriter Deb Rasmussen has been enchanting audiences for 20 years. She’s known for her spacious, playful interpretations of standards, performing her own tunes, and for the way she makes time stand still as she connects heart-to-heart with listeners. An experienced performer and recording artist, Deb sings with a variety of small combos in Calgary, but her talent has taken her to venues across Canada and as far afield as China and Mongolia.

For her performance at Thomsons, Deb will be joined by Andréa Petrity.

Andrea Petrity

Andréa Petrity was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and began taking piano lessons at age 8. She began with classical lessons. She later went on to study music at Mount Royal College where she received a Diploma in Jazz & Contemporary Music Performance.

Her most recent release, “What If I” won the 2020 YYC Music Awards Jazz Recording of the Year.
